My Spring

Hi, it has been a very exciting spring. Besides the amazing flowers and shrubs that are blooming in the yard of my new house, I have been involved in many exciting projects with many wonderful people. Staged readings, sit down readings, and full productions.
First I was honored to be a part of the Encores series at the City Center in NYC. A wonderful production of FACE THE MUSIC. It starred Judy Kaye and Walter Bobbie and was directed by John Rando and choreographed by, and my third time working with, Randy Skinner.
Then onto California for the readings of GRUMPY OLD MEN, the new musical. Being produced by my friend, Jeff Gardner. The reading starred George Hearn, Len Cariou and Charles Durning. Also starring Adrienne Barbeau, Carol Kane, and Garret Morris.
Meester Amerika, was next. A jewsical about a troupe of jewish actors on the lower east side.
Onto Houston and the Alley Theatre, for a reading of the new Ken Ludwig musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. A backstory of the making of the movie of the same name. I played Louis B. Mayer. The cast was led by Harry Groener and Erin Dilly, both amazing talents and people. It was directed by Greg Boyd. Everyone was a joy, it was a blast.
Finally, I just closed 100 YEARS OF BROADWAY. A fund raiser for Playhouse on the Green in Bridgeport, CT. A revue, for which I acted as musical director, bring back the community to this lovely theatre in the growing downtown area....... very fulfilling.
That is much of my spring. We will chat more soon. Write me if you get the urge, and tell me what has been keeping you busy.
